This is a talk I’ve given a few times on the uses of Virtual Reality in Behavioural Psychology research. It documents our work on the Bystander Effect, published at dx.doi.org/10.1371/journal.pone.0052766 . The argument I put forward is that Virtual Reality is useful for experiments where reality presents ethical or logistical challenges. Also I’ll talk about some future directions if you can hold out until the end.
