Abstract
Fluid simulation is one of the most researched subjects in Computer Graphics.
This paper describes the theory and background research of fluids simulations
related to this project. A basic fluid solver is implemented in SideFX's Houdini
from the ground up, using its microsolvers and dynamic network structure.
Different tests were made using both the PIC and FLIP methods as well as simulations
with different collision objects.
